About Sarinka

Sari Jabornik is a Slovak-American painter and sculptor specializing in the study of the female experience and gender roles. Through delicate mediums, such as egg tempera paint, Jabornik aims to capture the essence of feminine nature. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts attending the University of Hartford Art School in 2026, and she has become proficient in oil painting, egg tempera, ink illustration, book arts, video making, glass casting, marble carving and welding. Several of her pieces have been a part of group exhibitions at the University of Hartford Art School such as the Gravamina installation art show and the Goldfarb Juried exhibition, as well as the Mostra Exhibition in 2025 while she was abroad in Cortona, Italy with the University of Georgia. She is an active member of the first Slovak Union and contributes her skills and energy into the community. In the future, Sari will continue to pursure exploring the depths of society’s exploitation and consumption of the female body.
